The new millennium starts with the Spring Scramble, which is played on the Black course from the White tees. The team of Henry Roed and Mike Frantz takes first place by beating the team of Sean Hartman and Brian Fullam on a match of cards, after both teams shot 8 under, 63. The two Man MGA Net tournament qualifier is played on the Red course and the victors are Doug Jaeckel and Kevin Wohleking who shot 63, beating the team of Mike Brice and Jon Silverberg by one stroke.
The Jack Burger Memorial tournament was played on Sunday, June 4th and the team of Pete Flynn and Paul Hoerner shot 68 to take first place honors over the teams of Ken Eichele and Ed Rich and Steve Meltsner and Jeff Slater who tied for second.
The Club Championship was extended an extra hole and won by Dave Segot over Sean Hartman, 1up. The A flight crown went to Mike Birmingham, the B flight was won by Ira Kaskel a former Pro and the C flight honors went to John Hennessey. Unlike 1999 when none of the top seeds made it to or won the finals, this year, two of the four top seeds won their flights.
The NPC Classic consisting of one round on the Red course from the Blue tees and one round on the Black course from the White tees, had Sean Hartman take revenge on Dave Segot (who had won the Club Championship) and beat him by 2 strokes to take the Gross title, while the net score went to Sean Mc Gowan.
The season's finale: the Fall Scramble, played on the Black course from the Blue tees, was won by the team of Andy Atsidakos, Dave Seimendinger, Jeff Slater and Eddie Rich who shot 63 beating three other teams by one stroke.
