Unfortunately, not too many records were kept for this, the second year of the Nassau Players Club.
Only one match is remembered, Sean Hartman and Matt Esposito had an 18 hole playoff on the Black, to represent the Club at the Invitational Partners Tournament at Baltusrol Golf Club in Short Hills, New Jersey with Mike O' Grady, who supposedly had secured one spot by being the primary invitee.
Sean Hartman defeated Matt Esposito and went on to represent the Nassau Players at the above mentioned tournament. This was a Scratch tournament at the National level in which the Nassau Players team of O'Grady and Hartman finished in fifteenth place out of sixty-two teams representing their golf clubs. A good showing.
