Once again, record keeping was not one of the primary concerns for the members, so not too many records were kept for the second consecutive year. Bill Bartell wins once again the Club Championship and the B flight honors go to Fred Stone who beat Jon Silverberg.
Rumor has it that Stone, on the second hole of the Black, after hitting a nice drive (not as good as Silverberg's), on his second shot, hits a 'worm-burner' that miraculously scurries up at the middle, dissects the two sand traps, runs through the rough and winds up a couple of feet from the hole to secure a birdie three to the dismay of the 'burglar'.
